• Assistant Director of the Emergency Department at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas

• Director of the Emergency Medicine Curriculum for residents and Supervisors of Fast Track, the National Christus Physician

• Liaison for Information Management

Dr. Quintanilla is the Assistant Medical Director at St. Joseph Hospital where he also serves as Residency Curriculum Director for Emergency Services.  He is a partner and on the board of leadership for SEPA (Southeast Emergency Physicians Association) where he is involved with the Quality/ Resource Utilization of projects within SEPA.

In addition, Dr. Quintanilla works part-time at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital and Methodist Alexander Campus, both located in Baytown, Texas.  He is presently the sports medicine doctor for the Houston Ballet, the Houston Ballet Academy and the girls' Rice Track team.

Dr. Quintanilla has an interest in telemedicine as well as helping patients in improverished countries.  He has been instrumental in bringing over several Russian and Ukrainian patients to the US for different surgical procedures that required American expertise.
